When important facts change
Add a new entry to the Update history, including the time in UTC+7, the text before and after correction, the reason and any additional source. Update the displayed modification date and the article's structured data.
Changes involving victims, attribution, damage, IOCs, impact scope or recovery results are always material changes.
Keep articles available for comparison
Do not change a URL merely to refresh an article. If an assessment must be withdrawn, state that it was withdrawn and why, rather than erasing all traces. Spelling corrections that do not change meaning may be grouped in the editorial log.
Receiving correction requests
Readers can contact the TUNGTEK channel listed on the Contact page, including the article URL, the passage to review and a corroborating source. Do not send passwords, private keys, client data or malware samples through the initial contact channel.
Requests are assessed on the evidence. The website does not promise a fixed response time when there is insufficient data for verification.
